Apple senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller delivered the conference&#8217;s keynote address in place [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div id="newsStory">SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) &#8212; Apple Inc. on Tuesday made its last appearance at the annual Macworld conference, releasing a new version of its MacBook Pro notebook and announcing pricing and copy protection changes for songs available on its iTunes store. Apple senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller delivered the conference&#8217;s keynote address in place of Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs, who earlier this week disclosed that he&#8217;s been suffering from a hormone imbalance. Apple, which traditionally uses the conference to announce its most high-profile products, said songs on iTunes will begin costing between 69 cents and $1.29 in April, based on their popularity.
