Magnolia’s Brings Great Wine, Beer and Cuisine to Richmond

Magnolia’s brings to Richmond what is truly a “wine experience.” It is a wine bar unlike anything in the area with servers focused on ensuring every customer a pleasant mid-day, afternoon or evening out. Magnolia’s offer 75 wines representing 15 countries all served by the bottle, glass or half glass. With Richmond’s only state-of-the-art thermostatically controlled preservation & optimization system, Magnolia’s makes sure that these award-winning wines are served just as the wineries intended.

 

If you are a beer lover, then you will be pleased also to learn that Magnolia’s has a carefully crafted beer list featuring 68 labels. Included are 12 world-renowned 25-ounce Belgian ales.

 

The wine experience would not be complete without pairing Magnolia’s great wines with our chef's hand-prepared tasting menu. Entrées such as lamb chops, grilled duck breast, pan-seared cumin-dusted diver scallops are beautifully presented. Then, nothing like ending the evening with our ever-popular Dessert Trio!

 

Incorporated within the premise is the Village Fine Wine & Cigar, a retail wine store that has served Richmonders for 15 years. Every wine from the broad selection at Magnolia’s is sold at the store. With a small corking fee patrons can purchase wines by the bottle while at Magnolia’s. In addition discounts are available that day in the wine store for any wines selected while dining, whether by the bottle, full of half glass.

 

Magnolia’s recently introduced “Friday Night Flights!” when a wine theme is presented including both a three-coarse flight of red wine as well as a three-course flight of whites. Each will be from the same grape varietal or from any one of the 15 worldwide producing regions from Magnolia’s stock.

 

Coming this spring is an awning-covered bistro-style dining area in the breezeway at the Village. Indoor-outdoor dining will be available for private events, cocktail parties and the like.

 

We are conveniently located near the University of Richmond in the Village Shopping Center at the intersection of Patterson and Three Chopt Roads. Magnolia’s is right across the breezeway from Starbucks (view map).
